Archos has a few available now, waiting for other vendors to bring their products to market.

A 7" Android (or Windows) tablet/iPad clone would be great for combining many admin tasks with an eReader and have ultimate portability.

I have a netbook and it was the best $300 I ever spent. I love having a physical keyboard, and I can use it like a real computer yet haul it everywhere with me.

The tablets would be good if you like to read books, I think...I wonder about the battery life though. Perhaps a Kindle would be better in that situation.

My wife had a Fujitsu Tablet that she could bring to class, and write (literally, how cool!!) all her stuff right into OneNote..instad of packing ten paper notebooks.

If we can get a slate to do the same thing, she'd be all over it.

If I were to buy a tablet PC or a smart phone, I would get one that is powered by Android. But I don't think I have any plans to buy a new computing device any time soon.
