We have a vehicle at work that uses about 1 qt of oil in a week. You can see the white smoke a little.Would sea-foam or mmo or something that swells gaskets work. The truck is a Ford (no suprise, huh?),I believe it might be a 1989 or so pickup. thanks

A cleaning treatment MIGHT help clean out the ring grooves to reduce it, but it is more probably wear. In that case your solution is to raise the viscosity to a 20W-50 if you haven't already.
You don't say what oil you are using or what the mileage and type of driving is, so this is generic info.
