Amsoil SS vs XL vs OE

I just double checked amsoil.com. I am a NonMember which means OE oil costs ME the regular price + shipping + tax

== $39.61 total

If I join the club then it's discounted price + shipping + tax + ten dollar fee == essentially the same price
.

If you are really interested you would have contacted me by now.

Fee rebated, you pay tax locally so including that for Amsoil and not other oils just seems weird, and sure shipping costs something just as driving to the store does.

How much is your shipping charge to Santa Ana CA?

If there is a troll thread I've seen this one is it. Pablo I commend you for taking the high road. I on the other hand would have approached it very differently. veryHeavy you are a bonafide douche!

What exactly would you test, and what results from a test would you look at?

Flow characteristics from the bottle to the fill tube.

I agree with the guy who said that PQIA VOA looks average. I suppose that's why AMS never shows any test results.

rom Las Vegas around $8

I just realized I will be in vegas. I could pickup the OE oil directly.

I visited the Vegas warehouse and scored a gallon of OE for a discounted $25. (Versus $21 for a gallon of M1's 15000 mile oil.)

I will run it for 15,000 miles and see how the Used Oil analysis appears.

After you do that I think your price comparison is pretty well blown out of the water.

No Mobil 1 would still be cheaper by $4.

I now have the Amsoil in the car. I wonder how long it will take to cover 15,000 miles..... maybe if I drive to Cali and back a few times, it will just be weeks.
