Amsoil SDF-10, is there a larger version?

Does anyone know if Amsoil has a longer filter that would have the same threads and gasket as the SDF-10? Is this information available online somewhere? I tried mounting an SDF-15 on my 03 Vibe but it's too big around, but I have plenty of room for a longer filter.

I don't think that amsoil makes one. Wix and toyota do though.

It appears I could upgrade to the Vibe GT filter which is 0.5" longer. It's not much but I'd take it. The Napa Gold 1396 for the GT is 3.4" long, whereas the 1394 for the base Vibe is 2.9" long. Does anyone know the overall length of the SDF-10?

The SDF84 looks like the gasket is close, but the BPP is different.
You'll have to decide if it's too fat or long.

Thanks for the info! Yep, it looks like the SDF-84 is the only choice. It's a desent upgrade in size so I'll keep that in mind.

I picked up some SDF-84's and they fit nicely! There's just enough room for the increased diameter and plenty of room lengthwise. The gasket is ever-so-slightly narrower though but shouldn't be a problem. I don't think the bypass-pressure is an issue either. The SDF-10 probably requires such a high BPP because it's so small.

Here's a scary observation I made: I had an Amsoil spin on adpater mounted on this engine. The gasket is quite a bit larger than the one on the SDF-10 and over-hangs the edge of the filter landing by a very small amount, atleast on the visible sides. But when I removed it, the O-ring was severely cut on the non-visible side. I was was lucky it didn't blow out. I would definitely not recommend running a filter like the SDF-15 on an engine spec'd for an SDF-10 or SDF-84, even if you have the room for it.
