MrWideTires' report of the ancient racing oil stash reminded me that I found two unopened quarts of Amsoil 0W-40 4-stroke oil, for outboards and other small 4-stroke engines, in my basement. I think it dates from the early to mid 1990s when I used it in a 9.9 HP Yamaha outboard. Can I use this oil in my car or motorcycle, maybe as a top-off oil mixed with something else?

Yes, yes and yes. The oil should be good to go.
If its sealed it should be fine.
