Amsoil European 5W-40

Any thoughts on how Amsoil European 5W-40 would work in an LS1 engine? I couldn't find any posts containing a UOA with this combination.

I think it's a great choice for that engine. Go for it.

I agree with Buster, it should work out very well in the LS1/LS2/LS6 engines.

I have recommended AFL 5W-40 to several folks with V8's, few to none UOA's yet - but no complaints. It seems despite it's Euro name, it will work great in V8's with OCI's around 10,000 miles.
