So your solution is to make your kids sick, sorry, but that's just sick.
My grandmother had to stay away from children for many years...she had never had chicken pox as a child. As an adult, her doctor warned her that it could be fatal! (I recall I had it when I was six.) Many things are minor for a child, but can be life-threatening if you get them as an adult!

Unfortunately, it is (according to my doctor) only about 70% effective. (And I had chicken pox long before 1995.)
