Air filters are shrinking.

Agree, BS. I think engine air filtration is very important and they should be growing… micro cars and high end tech aside (like Prius-C or M-4) many vehicles I have seen where the engine bay didn’t seem like it could not accomodate a larger one with relative ease.

NOW with that comment, Bill will want YOU as one of the 1/2 billion people he wants dead on this planet, watch what you say about BIll or you will be put on his list of the first to go. :)
Bill wants way more than 0.5 bln people gone, and it was Melinda who made the discovery that later became world known joke 😅

Obligatory /r/shrinkflation reference.

As a Southern native (born at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and raised within 20 miles of Nashville. I'm still here--just located on the Eastern side of Nashville currently), there is almost something bordering on false advertising about the brand name "Good Host" on instant iced tea mix. A proper Southerner would never...it only takes 15-20 minutes to brew with an electric kettle! lol

Carry on! 😁

There are many more filter brands these days with most being just relabeled china products. I try to stick with established brands.

Also, there are more turbo/supercharged engines out there than ever before. They get small filters due to the forced induction not needed large surface areas, but capacity still matters.

Agreed. Not much offends me, but this is an abomination to what tea should be.

I would be hard pressed to not address this at time of insult.

This is the air filter for my jeep. In the past the paper pleats were about 1.25 inches tall. This microgard filter is only about 1/2 tall now .

So make shorter pleats that clog up faster and sell more filters.

Are the OEM Jeep factory filters that crazy a price that you can't use them? I have always stuck with factory oem or get them from whomever makes them for the factory. (unless the oem is known to have a quality issue)

No longer offered. The OEM filters are the same as the short ones now. Same with the OEM thermostat. Inside the jeep box is a Motorad stat.
