Another 96. My first one is 2wd, regular cab, and 442k miles. Love the thing but it has its limitations (Primarily that my wife and young kids can’t all go in it). And it got into a fender bender (I’m going to fix it) that started me down a path for parts and ended up finding western trucks.
New one is 4x4, club cab (they didn’t have crew cabs back then), and MT. Mostly original paint. VERY clean body and frame. Looks like new. Good interior, not cracked or ripped, just the stereo doesn’t work (will replace with a OE Chrysler unit with bluetooth added).
Despite the crazy truck market I got what I felt was a good deal, and these trucks are getting harder and harder to find. Nice examples are crossing well past the 30k mark, granted with lower miles, but many of those have gotten Chinese or CAPA parts and repaints…
So I’m very pleased with this one. Has all new fluids throughout, MT with low gear shifts great. And it cruises smooth and nice at speed.
