I was out and about this evening, and found a store was selling a carton (12 quarts) of this oil for $25 USD each. Thought I'd pick some up for the Avalanche, which I run Motorcraft SB 10w30 in, and the price dropped further to $20 a carton when I was buying more than one.

So $100 later, I ended up with 60 quarts of this stuff. Seeing I subsitute a quart of MMO at each interval, 60 quarts should last me 12 oil changes. I go by the OLM, so this stack will probably last me a long, long time.

If memory serves me right, isn't this stuff the same as Mobil Clean 5000? Anybody here using this oil?

In the US, I thing AC delco oil is made by XOM. In Canada, it is made by Petro-Canada, and is pretty hard to find.

If you're OLM gives you 9-10k on an OCI (Desert highway driving); you've got enough oil for nearly 120k of driving!

Now THAT's planning ahead!

Thanks for the info! Must be XOM then, seeing it's imported from the US.

Now that I have 200,000 kilometres worth of oil, I just need to go out and purchase a carton of PF46 or PF61 oil filters, then I'm all set! ACDelco filters cost about $3.45 each, but I can get a carton of 12 for something like $34. Wonder how much it'll be for the air and cabin filters, seeing I replace them every oil change.
