Newer recommendation for oil for Kia Stinger?

Mobil 1 Euro 0w40 is an oil that is used on the track as well as street. it might loose viscosity relatively quickly, but if you are chsnging your oil every 2-3k miles, it would work just fine.

pennzoil euro 5w40 is a fantastic choice too

PS: how are pennzoil euro and Quaker State Euro are different? is one the older formulation of the other?

That's an unanswered question. My research here indicates Quaker State Euro might be Pennzoil Platinum Euro or possibly Shell Helix Ultra, but from what I understand, they are bad about updating their SDS's across their product lines, and so it's hard to compare, but it is likely one of the two. (You can find reports here that it is both oils.)

But the takeaway is that you shouldn't let the $23 price tag fool you. It's a great oil.
