The bottles for Mobil Super Synthetic and High Mileage are of the same design as well. I don't think it's any secret that Mobil most likely produces and bottles the oil. But looking at the PQIA UOA for the oil, it appears to be different with regards to additives and NOACK.

TGMO has the same bottles too, so it must be the same as AC delco....and all this time I have been paying more for Toyota brand.

The formulations are not identical, they are similar maybe.

As good as that PQIA analysis is, its not worth $30/5 quarts. PU, Castrol Edge, and M1 are all cheaper and superior.

Mobil blends all of these oils, but none are exactly the same. AC Delco is a blend, but is similar on paper to Mobil Super Synthetic.

All XOM but not the same any more than M1 EP and Mobil Special are.

Add pack appears similar to M1 EP with reduced Calcium.

Also I dont believe thats a blend. The numbers look more like a pretty good GIII.

Um, not it isn't. Mobil Super 5000 doesn't meet Dexos1 and isn't a synthetic blend...

It has been a year since I bought it but it was cheaper than 5.99 from the dealer. I think 3.99 is what I paid a quart maybe a little more.

Try a dealer.

In Canada GM switched their oil supplier to Shell. I don't know about
the bottled oil but the bulk oil at the dealers is from Shell.
