I passed by this gem in Northwest Indiana going the other way on a busy 4-lane road, I thought I was seeing things as it was a long weekend in a moment of "I can't believe what I just saw...a STRETCH 'Vette!?!?" So I turned the Saturn around to snap some pics. While this one was probably already making the rounds on the 'net, it's time that it finds it's way onto BITOG.

When I finished snapping the photos, two other guys stopped to snap their own pix. No doubt, it's a rare sight!

Enjoy!

That's pretty cool actually! I mean it's not something I want or am in love with but some of the pictures are really cartoonish! Looks like it's moving while sitting still.

panel gaps? ugh!

I would be interested if they kept the rear transaxle or went with a more conventional powertrain. My guess is the latter, in some sort of truck chassis.

Yeah, panel gaps from [censored].

Doesn't look all that well put together, but definitely interesting.

It does have that warp drive visual "stretch" aspect to it.

LOL true.

You know, it doesn't look to great sitting still, but if you got passed by it on the highway, you'd say it was awesome. Those gaps are pretty egregious.

Those are gull wing doors, right? It could just not be closed right. The handle is in the wrong spot for rear edge latch ..and there's no track for a slider.
