yea so its actually not surprising you can get the ads they dont come from the same place as the tv stream.

Something is blocking that specific stream for whatever reason.

the first step would be to disable all 3 of those. and see if it works.

I doubt he has the real time Malwarebytes Premium, but the free version, so that shouldn't be an issue. I agree, disable any active real time AV program (one at a time) and see if that makes a difference.

I do have the real time Malwarebytes Premium version. It's part of a package deal with AOL.

If you have 3 real time versions of AV software running at the same time you might want to get rid of 1 of the 3. Not best practice to have that many running simultaneously. MWB Premium will typically run with others (I run it with Microsoft Defender in Win10), but not sure about those other two you have and how they play with others.

Z06, when it comes to protecting my laptop, I want to be VERY protected. I hardly know anything about computer anti virus protection. I have been with AOL since 1994. With my current subscription to AOL, they offered MWB to me for just $3.25 a month on top of what I'm paying for AOL.
The HP protection is some kind of firewall/anti virus. That's as much about it that I know. It came with HP support I bought for my laptop, 3 year extended warranty.
About a month ago my 1 year of FREE MacAfee protection expired. I extended it for 3 years for $69.95.
I used my stimulus money to purchase all of the above.
Just off subject, are you being affected by the intense blistering heat there in the PNW? I had read the temperatures were in the triple digits.

Having 3 mediocre av is like having 3 perforated condoms .. better to use 1 top tier product. Also as mentioned they can interfere with each other. Too many cooks in the kitchen.

Yeah, it was super hot (over 100F) here for 3~4 days ... hit 115F at my place on the hottest day. Broke high temp records by a mile.
