Driving along at night
The time be it just right

Your car appears in the distance
But something is amiss, since

Two lights a shining
Only one blasting, burning

The other dimly glows
While you slowly approach

Blame my curious nature
For my eyes shift toward the venture

Retinas melting, scalding, spots appearing
It takes a few seconds, before I am veering

Oh no! Oncoming traffic!
The brake pedal - blast it!

Dost thou not notice?
The attempt should be earnest

To change out the pair
For they surely do share

The same power source
But of course, but of course

And I continue my drive
Into the night

Hoping that mine eyes return to the right.

Oh come on. You guys have never been blinded by someone whose car headlights are grossly off-balance?

Don't listen to the critics, Reddy!

Brakes squeal in protest
Look both ways overrated
Oops, sorry, my bad.

drunken haiku about bad driving, FTW :)
