Amazing these pumps ran for 83 years. Would be interesting to see how much wear there is on the impellers, elbows, and other parts, assuming where there were no parts changed.
Very cool. My grandfather rebuilt motors just like those and larger for all sorts of pumps.Amazing these pumps ran for 83 years. Would be interesting to see how much wear there is on the impellers, elbows, and other parts, assuming where there were no parts changed.
Looks like a YDS3
Those pumps would still be running good today if they hadn't decided to upgrade the entire water/fountain display. Looking at a pump there cut open the internals looked great. BTW the new water fountains are no where near as interesting as the original.Amazing these pumps ran for 83 years. Ha! I never knew, or at least certainly didn't remember, the model number. But yes, it is a YDS3 ... I checked after reading your post. Good catch!Looks like a YDS3
Danged fine first car!First car - 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 two door with a 289 V8 with a 3-speed manual transmission which I converted from the tree to the knee. Had to put some cool wheels and tires on it.
