This place has good ammo prices, and shipping cost isn't bad. No sales tax if you're out of state. Just bought some 9mm American Eagle (Federal) for target shooting for @12.22 a box of 50.

Sadly, midway is C.Y.A on this one.

Chicago city law prohibits sending 9mm Luger, 45 ACP, 380 ACP, 38 Special, 357 Magnum, 25 ACP or any 22 caliber ammunition to your shipping address, even if you have a FOID card.


Walmart carries a whole bunch of different 9mm ammo - typically can get for about 23 to 25 cents/round in brass case. Do the Walmarts in Chicago sell ammo, or are they banned by law?


I got my last ZQ1 9mm from there as well. Not in stock these days in my local store. Know any other store that carries it?

I use Fiocchi FMJ or Win NATO FMJ for range use.

For SD, I use Federal 9BPLE +P+ JHP. Cheap and has an excellent street record in actual shootings.
