87 Ford Ranger steering column wobbles

the truck is a 4x4 with the 2.9l engine. The steering column moves up/down, and side to side. What needs to be fixed or replaced. Also the steering wheel is off center. The truck drives, steers, and stops fine. Just don't like the column moving.

Under the dash is a mount - check that first for loose or broken bolts/nuts. You may have to remove a plastic panel.
