Thanks for your help. I will not buy the extra qt and just go with what I have. I realized that the little difference in specs between the 2 grades but have read that this engine is sensitive to oil with people claiming lifter failure with 5w30 as well as rougher idle due to small orfice in VVT.

There have been rocker failures on 5w20 as well. It's not sensitive to oil at all. 0w40=buttery smooth idle, same as I had on 5w20. Only difference I can "feel" is it feels slightly smoother if you rev it out when on 0w40.

I am going to buy the 6 qt. box of PRO DS, 5W30 for my next OCI.

It didn't work out for me
Van was noisy on hard acceleration with 5w20
Lawn equipment on 5w30 as well as Kia used oil only on this oil.
