5w20 and E85

Been using 5w20 castrol edge FST in my 2010 fusion 3.0 v6 since new. Been noticing that with edge fst it burns a lil oil around 5000 miles. I use prolly 5 or 6 full tanks of E85 every OCI. Not sure if the E85 causes it or it's esdge fst. Anyone find this with edge FST in their vehicles?

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
There are owners that sludge up engines in cars that cost over 50K.

A more important factor to consider describe your driving habits.

Try switching your oil to a different brand to see if this is consistent across the board. My recommendation would be Motocraft SynBlend 5w20 or Maxlife 5w20.

Some oil is always lost. Also consider the PCV system - it HAS to.

Like I said, a LITTLE oil use at 5k is not worth posting about.
