5w-40 better Fe than 0w-30

It seems my car has better FE with 5w-40 SM A3-98 than 0w30 SN A5-10, ambient temperature is 27 C(morning), 36 C(noon). Most of the time drive at noon.
Maybe I should try GC that is thicker.

At those temperatures, if you're happy with how it's running with the 5W40 then just stick with it. It sounds like you've found and oil your engine likes.
