50mbps vs 100mbps cable internet?

If you stream actual 4K content on your TV, it will at times use 41Mbps at 30 frames per second. If you watch 4K 60 frames per second on YouTube, you will need more than 60Mbps.

I have gigabit internet and there is no question that 4K picture quality improved over my previous (much lower) service. However, I have a 77 inch LG OLED TV, which really does highlight any flaws.

Turn on Quality Of Service (QOS) or Media Prioritization
to the devices you want to get the most bandwidth…

For example, the 4K TV….

(I am using a Linksys router)

I don't see the cellular companies investing in the tower density required for that level of performance outside of dense city areas.
They may selectively invest to reduce congestion and if they see good profit competing with cable or fiber they may invest in that in suburb. I'm sure there are places where most people uses only cable for internet browsing and still cost them $60 a month, and could easily be a target customer for $45 a month 5G.
