215/65 R16 seeking input on tire options

Update to the thread. I ended up purchasing the General Altimax RT45s. I have put about 3,000 miles on them to date. Within of month of purchase we had 6 to 8 inches of snow here in Kansas. Tires handled well on both untreated and treatated snow packed roads. They did reasonable well on the ice. Wet traction is comparable to the Coopers and seems solid. The RT45s ride well and road noise minimal. Overall I am please so far. Hoping they will perform similar to the Coopers and I will be able to obtain 50k to 55k before they need to be replaced. Purchase/installation at Wal-Mart was done professionally and the the entire process was quick and hassle free.

All three are good choices. I wanted to be a little rebellious and go against the grain, but in all honesty I’d lean towards the continentals first. That said, the falken (sumitomo) tire would be very interesting to try. I’m seeing good reviews on a number of falken/sumitomo products. There’s nothing wrong with the generals either, the RT45 is a well-respected tire.

Oops I didn’t see this. IME you may find that the wet traction outlasts the coopers’. I had one set of cooper tires and wet traction started to diminish when 2/3 of the tread was remaining.

It is time to replace the tires on my 03 Camry I4/AT with 190K. Current tires are Cooper CS5 Grand Touring. Overall, I am pleased with how this tire performs, disappointed it has been discontinued, and would like to replace it something very similar. Current driving is a mix of city/highway. I normally get 50K out of a set of tires in this category. I live in KS so the tires must be reliable in all conditions. Areas of importance are ride quality with a preference for firm handling and lower road noise. Tires will be purchased at Walmart for ease of tire repairs/road hazard warranty if needed. I have read the reviews at Tire Rack for tires in this category and have also reviewed recent tire posts here on BITOG.

Looking for real world experiences with the following tires and how they compare to the Cooper CS5.
Open to other suggestions in the event I have overlooked a tire that falls within this category.

General Altimax RT45 - $132.00 Treadwear warranty 75K
Continental TrueContact Tour 54 - $158.00 (Currently $110 rebate) Treadwear warranty 80K
Falken Sincera SN250A/S - $122.00 Treadwear warranty 80K
I had very good service on a set Yokohama GT w/ V speed rating on a Camry.
Have new sets on the Camry & Avalon now. Both V speed rated.
Excellent ride comfort
Very good wet.
Good dry, & wear

My parents have a van that takes that size, and Conti would have been my pick if we drove it more than once a month. I took advantage of a Black Friday deal at DT/AT on a set of Pirelli P4 Persist Plus, it was less than $500 installed. About the same price as Chinesium at a mom and pop, a bit more than Walmart 30 miles away wanted for Reliants.
