2025 Nissan Armada

Doesn't even think twice just guns it. Doesn't even have a snorkel.
The stock air intake sits very high in a Patrol. Its just under the inside top of the left fender.

The breathers for diffs and transmission are also much higher than normal stock vehicles.
High enough, that many off road guys dont bother getting breather extensions on a Patrol.

What are your priorities? IMO, Armada is far better executed vehicle. I would go get PRO-4X and drove it back home.
This right here.
Every reviewer yet, has ranked the new gen Armada over the new gen Sequoia, often by a large margin, and often not even considering the higher price of the 'yota.

This former Toyota Engineer who usually buys Toyota/Lexus loves the Armada:

We have a little over 6000 miles on our 2025 Pro4x Armada. It has really grown on me. I was not sold on it at first, my wife really wanted it and liked it. As I have driven it and been around it over the months we have had it I am glad we have. Drive train is amazing, very comfortable, arguably fast.

We cross shopped the Tahoe, Suburban (which is what I wanted)-could not do the 6.2L I am so afraid of the cam/bearing issues I personally know 2 people one the 2nd engines in the 6.2 Tahoe. The Expedition--I have had a great experience with my 2015 3.5L Ecoboost F150 the Expedition's--2025's not many to look at and were expensive for what you got. Sequoia-- I am a Toyota fan we have a 2022 4Runner and have had several Toyota's--Sequoia has a terrible 3rd row and terrible space behind the 3rd row, if you are hauling people or stuff it is terrible. I waned to like the Sequoia I wanted to buy a Sequoia I knew if we did we would regret it, in reality there was not a whole lot more space in it than the GX460 we had.

Thanks for sharing, seems great overall so far. We had a 2017 Armada and really liked it. A lot of people won't take a look but most reviewers have very high praise for the Armada. I had a Nissan Titan that I sold due to aftermarket parts that were installed when I bought it that caused several issues I couldn't fully resolve. I ended up with a '24 Tundra Platinum. I really like the Tundra and it fits my needs very well. I will say though; the Titan takes the win when it comes to overall build quality. The interior on the Titan felt very tight, no rattles, and a great overall feel.

I hope the Armada is a success, as it deserves to be.

Just some pics of the Pro-4x I'm currently looking at. Owner of the dealership has been driving it with 1000 miles and they discounted it.

Congrats! How was the sales experience at the Dealership?
Thank You! Very pleasant buying experience actually. No different than my buying experience from Lexus. I'm an hour away from dealer and they will pick me up at my house tomorrow for pickup. Only add on was a 10 year 150k miles no deductible extended warranty. Paperwork was all on a tablet I went there at 1030am and was out by noon.

That's great. Glad to hear that.

TFL Truck reports that Armada sales are up 24% in the third quarter of this year. The Toyota Sequoia is down 2.4%.
Toyota dropped the ball honestly with their new Sequoia when compared on paper with this Y63 3rd Gen Armada. It's an absolute win for Nissan when David from Automotive Press is comparing the Armada to a Lexus LX700. Wake up Toyota. Capstone Snapstone.

Having ridden in the new Sequoia on numerous occasions-the interior space is a joke when you are talking a vehicle that size. I maintain that the Japanese -up to this point just don't understand this full size segment. It may appear that Nissan finally has.
