2024 Titan: Pick a filter to win

^^^ I've used both the PureOne (claim then was 99.9% @ 20u) back in the day when they were the same as the Bosch back then, and also the OG Ultra (99%+ @ 20u) on two different vehicles ... both of those filters were high efficiency, and never heard any difference in engine noises. Either you have a very sensitive engine, or it's possessed and making noises just to mess with you. 😄 I highly doubt that any big brand name oil filter is so restrictive that it's going to reduce oil flow to the point where the engine is starting to make noises due to lack of lubrication. Typically he oiling system is 15 times more flow restrictive than the average oil filter. So a few PSI of dP difference between oil filters isn't going to matter to the oil pump or the volume of oil it sends to the oiling system.

Well, today was the day 😁
Change out the factory fill and filter with your recommendations.

And how did it go?

Notice anything in the drive afterwards or nothing? Was it an easy job?
Can you cut open the filter you took off and share some photos?

Nice looking truck. I would be Proud!

I must say it went pretty well. The only pain was to take off the front skid plate. Those bolts would not come out. They were on with Loctite had to use an impact other than that no problems. After the test drive really didn’t notice anything different seemed about the same. Then again I only went around the subdivision. As for the filter, it was a Japanese made filter which I have a pic of I’ll have to order a filter cutter from Amazon and will post.

My Titan has that darn skidplate too . It's not hard to remove . Especially since the last person to put it back on left two of the bolts out .
