I guess I'm a different duck. I would never consider current ANY electric car as a road trip car. They are local cars, commuter cars.Yes very nice, and good range within the circle.
Leave the circle and go on a road trip and it's more disappointing than Water World.
The AWD car adds 45 min of charging time on top of a AWD model Y on the same 900 mile trip.
The GM products are simply not competitive on a trip compared to Tesla and H/K.
Many of same guys that claim any stop over 5 minutes is too long say "well thats pretty close" when by their own definition its 9 times longer than the class leading cars which are supposedly already too long to wait for.
As much as I like the car and love GM, I expected more competitive trip time given about half a decade of extra dev cycles and a larger battery than the competition.

And I maintain perfect for us.
Boss has said she wants to look at Equinox. As long as Im driving a competitive EV, the downside I experience on the freeway is completely overwhelmed by the upside of in town use.
Cars spend something between 90 and 96% of their life in your driveway/ garage.
Boss has said she wants to look at Equinox.
I come up with 5,000 lbs ( I also noted that Super Cruise is available)It's a sweet ride as long as you arent road tripping it, or if your road trip is one stop out.
Its unclear but you may be able to hit the taxpayers on this one twice -
There is the EV rebate if you qualify
It looks 179 compliant as well.
If you are buying it for business you may be able to 179 it as long as it majority business use and over 6000LB GVWR.
It hits the magic number in both configs.
The Chevrolet Equinox EV's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) varies by drivetrain configuration:
- Single-motor (FWD) models: 6,060 pounds (2,750 kg)

Mis-understood what you were writing about. I looked at the 6000 lbs and was like wow .. *LOL*Curb weight isnt GVWR.
Curb weight is a full tank and standard accessories, but no passengers, cargo or optional accessories.
I'm not a big guy.Mis-understood what you were writing about. I looked at the 6000 lbs and was like wow .. *LOL*
