2022 Ford Maverick

I would prefer Falcon, one of my favorite Fords.
By the way, keep your hands off the Galaxie name! The '63 1/2 is too perfect.
When I was in high school (2003-ish) there was a kid that drove a 1965 Galaxie 4-door hardtop to school every day. It was completely unrestored, faded white paint, no rust and all it was missing was a few pieces of trim here and there. Easily the coolest car in the parking lot and he had only paid $250 for it.

Is it just me or does the camouflage really not fool anyone? Seems like it does more to call attention to it.
Big floatation tires that make it look like a ricer kid pimped it out probably make it stick out more. That and having ridden in one you can look down seeing the roof of semis in the drivers seat meaning shear size would make it hard to miss

Just need some spinning rims and angel eyes, then chrome unwanted stuff and black out other random stuff

Its wimpy leaving the ICBM at home.
J Some have a crows nest and 60cal sticking off the top, is that good enough?

A full grown man wearing a face diaper alone driving a car. I bet he carries a murse too :ROFLMAO:
Before 2020, it wasn’t terribly uncommon to see folks wearing masks outdoors that have pollen allergies. The driver side window is down in the truck, or perhaps isn’t even installed. That might be the case here, we don’t know for sure.

Hmm. Not sure if I like or not--I like the idea, but I suspect I'd prefer it as a wagon. A car based truck works for my needs, as I don't need 10k towing and huge payload, and full sized truck won't fit my garage (nor budget). But as I shop sedans I'm dismayed that they only do pedestrian things and won't do small towing.

Being $20k and high mpg, this thing sounds like the ultimate vehicle for you.

Ford has targeted a wide group. Think about it....you want a truck, do you need a 60K truck that pulls 5K pounds? Most of us don't. They are a PITA to park with these new small parking lots. Most trucks are weekend warrior types.....go to Lowes get some gravel, fertilizer, buy a new mower, etc. etc. This thing will fill that niche. It's got more interior room than most cars, plus, you get a truck bed. But wait....for 20K? AND up to 40 MPG? This thing will sell like hotcakes. It kind of looks like a Ridgeline though. I was wondering, did Ford get the chip shortage straightened out? I mean, they got plenty of 2021 models sitting at the factory awaiting parts but they are rolling out new models??? I don't get it.

Hopefully, it will look decent and nothing like a world design such as the Escape. If it looks good it should sell really well.

With less towing capability than a Ridgeline (5 vs 4K) can it really be a truck which many claim (laughably) isnt a "real" truck ?

That looks great and a hybrid too, it will be a hit. The proven Aisin designed trans is another big plus. Can sort of see why they went away from the Fusion to this, smart. People seem to like the 2.5 for reliability too. Sold.

Not what I expected. My uncle used to drive an early 70s Maverick. The original paint was pretty bad and he repainted it himself with cans of vehicle spray paint. And yes it looked as bad as it sounds. It looked like home exterior paint on a car.
