Why always so negative all the time?neither is much of a truck but the Mav is a bit better IMO!! dump the 2nd doors for more box + load capacity would make a useful small truck, no CVT for sure!! new owners will be the Beta testers good luck!!!
The reason is the Hybrid is selling in larger numbers than they predicted. Ford is dedicating all early Hybrid production to customer orders/reservation.
Nobody would buy that.neither is much of a truck but the Mav is a bit better IMO!! dump the 2nd doors for more box + load capacity would make a useful small truck, no CVT for sure!! new owners will be the Beta testers good luck!!!
How different is a Maverick from a Ranger?
More like the escapeA lot.
Maybe the question is how alike are the Maverick and Ridgeline?
There was a time when I would have scoffed at such a notion, but then I started growing gray hair, stopped losing weight, and realized a small truck is all my Suburban life needs.....I use a truck as a truck probably 2-3 times per year, and if it is snowing bad enough to need 4x4, I stay home. How do we feel about a fwd pickup?
i hear ya pal, me personally i like a mini van, wagon or the old short stubby vans like a g10, old dodge or ford.. however those small rwd vans are no longer to be had. i do like the nissan nv200 or chevy's version. It's either buy a truck like this, or get a utility trailer for my wife's minivan. Storing a trailer is the only reason I don't have one already.
Not sure if I will move on something like this yet, as I may wait for the 20-30k mile trade-ins top start rolling in. my 228k mile Camry might be ready to retire by then.
Will it have a 1970 - 1977 section?
99% difference. I doubt they share many parts except for interior doodads. How different is a Maverick from a Ranger?
