FORD Maverick owner talks of 91 octane and higher is recommended ...

I don’t even think the Hybrid is available in AWD in the Maverick.

I have a Hybrid Escape and anything other than cheapest is wholly unnecessary. However in the Midwest “super” is often E0 and regular is E10 so I can see how it might get better mileage on “super”.

I ran two tanks of 89 in it as the fuel door says 87+
No benefit at all.
Noticed absolutely nothing and I embraced the cheap 87....
I guess some day I could try the 93 octane in it when I get a job.
The tank of E0 purchased recently is just about gone. On a day trip today the first 112 miles was 47.0 mpg with a slight tailwind <5mph. 39 miles of electric. The last 107 was 40.7 on higher speed interstate and 4-lane highways, with a now slight headwind. only 11 miles of electric. We'll see in a couple days if I get the usual 2-3 mpg bump from using E0

in the 2024 FORD online owners manual during the conditions below . This applies to the 2.0 Ltr. ( D.I. ) w/ turbo and the 2.5 Ltr. ( S.M.P.I. ) . Also talks of good gas mileage ( calculated ) for being an A.W.D.. Other owners speak of their gas mileage in COMMENTS . Tempting .

Our 2024 kia carnival recommended the same thing.
91 is recommended. 87 can also be used.

My 2.7L ecoboost says it runs on 87 but should tow on 91. I do not see a mpg difference between the two. However, it pulls so much timing on 87 that between timing compensation, turbo lag, and torque management between shifts, it feels awful. I’ve fed it 91 octane since it’s 4th or so tank of gas. Fortunately, it does get great mpg in my commute and circumstances, 21.6 as displayed today.
Our carnival pulls a ton of timing with 87.
And zero 91+
It's a bloody minivan

Having been in a few lately - I don’t like anything about them. Admittedly I haven’t tried the pizza.
Trust me that if your 10 minutes from eating that pizza the cheese will be congealed. The pizza is OK but is made by people who could care less if it is prepared properly. Twice I received someone else pie. Thankfully the pie I got was to my liking both times, and let sleeping dogs lie. Lately they are lucky to keep their IT up and running. They started going downhill right after that went public and built all these new larger locations with the IPO money. Now just a typical corporation, with the good and the bad that comes along with it.
