No changes from last time... Same normal routes but there is some heavy towing this go around as well as several hours on the beach in cape hatteras. Saw the highest sump temps yet (240F momentarily which is absolutely nothing for modern oil imo) and then right back to the 180-190F range. Pulled around the same OLM % which was 7. No makeup oil added. Lots of idling too. Delco cartridge as usual.

Not going to change anything. Thoughts?

Edit: didn't bother with TBN this go around mainly because I forgot to check the box. Oops.

Looks alright. Given that m1 0w-40 is the same price as regular m1 and castrol 5w-40 is a buck less is there any reason not to use those?

Mainly since I spend about 3$ a quart for the 5w30 and aside from the tahoe, everything else in the fleet uses it.

For $3 a quart I'd buy it. If you're ever back to paying regular price I'd switch to the aforementioned. I'm using euro 40 in my 6.2 gm and 2.4 mitsubishi instead of 0w-20. Both run notably quieter and fuel economy is the same. maybe 0.1mpg less. If you're running 20 in the tahoe switch everything to 30 just for convenience.
