My brother is a professional fishing guide. He has 2-3 clients in his boat 250+ days a year.
The reason I'm telling you this is, he is finalizing a deal with Nissan to drive their new 2016 Titan XD. According to my brother, Nissan gives him a new XD every year (I'm not sure for how many years this contract is for), and also provides insurance and plates for the truck. He just keep fuel and DEF in it. In return, every year 500+ men will sit in his truck (guys that can afford $500/day to go fishing) and lots of people will see him towing his boat around town and at the gas stations filling up, at the boat ramp/launch, etc. etc. This is a great deal for my brother, who currently has a 2012 Chevy Silverado with the 6.2L gas engine in it.
With a 5.0L turbo-charged Cummins under the hood (approx. 300HP and 550 ft-lbs torque), and a 12,000 lbs. tow capacity, this is a heavy duty half-ton truck. He needs a strong truck to pull his 22' boat around the Detroit-metro area, as he is often merging onto the freeway.
I'm excited to check it out, and see how it tows!!
