I'm looking for suggestions on new tires for our Outback. It's a Limited with the 18" wheels. We purchased Yokohama YK-CTX about 1.5 years ago and they're at about 5/32 after 20k miles. I'm looking for tires that will last longer. I'm leaning towards Michelin Defender2. How many miles could I expect? The car sees a mix of highway miles 1 day a week, the rest is around town driving mix of country roads and stop and go traffic. We live in Eastern TN. The climate is mild and we rarely see snow.
