Hi,My mom has a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek with only 4000 miles ,yes 4000 miles.Parked in the garage 24-7 since new. She doesnt drive much these days due to her health. I use it when roads are clean and dry on weekend just to run it. So question is ,it has the ORIGINAL tires on it. Since they are going on 9yrs old ,would it be advisable to replace them? It's stored in the garage no windows . They look fine ,no cracks etc. Thanks

Probably ok for a few more years, but if its sketchy in the rain etc.. It wouldn't be a bad idea to replace them.

Tires are pretty cheap in that size.

Now if it was parked in the sun in AZ.. well they would be toast by now.

12 year old tires are OK?

My opinion is to keep them. No legitimate reason to spend the money on new tires that are just going to sit in the garage for another 9 years and age out.
