The Hyundai was all about form with no substance. The Cruze just the opposite. I have over 1,000 on it in two weeks. The Cruze is a better driver's car in every way. Better handling, fuel mileage, less road noise and engine noise. Stay with your Cruze.
Yes, I gave up some interior room in the Sonata but interior room means nothing if the car is miserable to drive.
I agree with you. My MIL was recently given a brand new Sonata loaner car when her vehicle was being worked on at the dealership. I really like the exterior of the Sonata and was anxious to drive it as I was considering it for a future vehicle purchase. The thing rode like a boat and was a huge disappointment. Hyundai/Kia may have come a long way, but they still have a ways to go.
Popinski, have you driven a current generation Sonata?
I have and also have ridden in many other American cars. I like the Big 3 but majority of the cars are not that good.
