Sample is off a 2013 Ram 2500 with a Cummins 6.7. I've been running T6 5w-40 in it with a MO-285 Mopar filter since new. 13k OCI on this one.

I've read a few posts on here suggesting that the MO-285 filter shouldn't be used for a long OCI and I have to disagree. I recently sent in a fresh sample that I'm waiting on where I ran the full 15k OCI. Cut the filter open, and it was perfect. As soon as I receive my new report, I'll post it along with pics of the filter. Thanks

Emissions Intact.

Looks good, how long did it take for you to do those 13k miles. And is this a report you had done a while ago but didn't post at the time.

It took me about 12 months to put the 13k miles on this oil and yes, this is an old sample that I never posted.

was this the ck-4 t6 or cj-4 version? good numbers for the miles ran.
Thanks and yes, this was with the CK-4 rating. Below are the pictures of my most recent MO-285 filter with the full 15k OCI on it. Can't wait to get the latest report from Blackstone to see what's going on.

The MO-285 is not bad, it’s a rebranded Fleetguard LF3972 painted grey with a Mopar decal on it. It should be 30 microns @ 95% efficiency & 35 microns @ 98.7% efficiency being made of standard cellulose media. There are more efficient options available if you want greater filtering ability using synthetic blended media or synthetic media.

Checkout @OVERKILL post explanation of media.

Hey Bighorn, I switched over to the LF16035 for my current OCI to see how it does. I've been meaning to use it for years but it's been too easy to grab my T6 and a Mopar filter at Walmart. I'm just glad we can all find diesel oil and quality filters again.

Here are a few samples from my 6.7 Cummins using synthetic media, Fleetguard & Donaldson.
