A few pictures of a MO-285 Mopar filter after a 15k OCI in a Cummins 6.7 with 153k miles. I've opened up a few already with the same OCI and they've all looked the same. I know that I've read a few threads where a few people have suggested that these shouldn't be run this long but, I don't agree with them at all. UOA's have also come back excellent with this filter so there's no reason to not to follow Cummins 15k OCI recommendation.

The most important thing an oil filter can do is not fail. That filter looks like it didn't fail.
Isn't that true about any part on a vehicle? What's the 2nd most important thing a filter should do. Hint, it's in its name. 😄;)

Do you also make the Mopar MO-339 and MO-899?
I'll try to remember to take a look tomorrow when I'm on my work computer.
MO-339 is the LF16242
MO-899 is the LF3681, which also has a Stratapore version, the LF16002 and is the filter I'm hoping they'll update to have a silicone ADBV.

Appears that we do NOT manufacture the LF16242.

We do make the LF3681...it's 95% @ 24 microns. As was mentioned above, the LF16002 is an upgrade option to the LF3681...I'm seeing 100% @ 24 microns, although I can't see media type listed in the system...it likely is a StrataPore filter though. Full synthetic polymeric media...good stuff.

Yup, the can says Stratapore on it if that helps?

Any input on the anti-drainback valve material query?

If it's on the can, then definitely a StrataPore filter! Good call. Not sure on the valve material...I'll ask around again.
Wonderful, thanks! This is one of the very few synthetic media filters available that's compatible with a wide variety of passenger car/truck applications, if it had a silicone ADBV, it would be a no brainer for folks disappointed by the cheapening of the FRAM Ultra.
