Unlike other posters who get mad at their new cars for having faults, I'm glad the piece failed now while it's under warranty.
I agree. I also will accept, and I've said it before. All cars these days are massively complicated, with hundreds of thousands of parts. It's a miracle of engineering and a testament to the care of workers that most are perfect out of the gate. But not everything can be perfect. Not everyone will accept that, and a rattle, or burned out LED is cause for "LEMON LAW I WANT NEW CAR!!!!!1!!111!one!!"
New cars can have problems, it's impossible to have every single part, absolutely perfect, every time.
