Just keep in mind that the later model Cruze LS is the 1.4L turbo engine. I think GM basically made the LT (or 1LT and 2LT of earlier models) into the LS and introduced a lower model (L I think) that had the 1.8L (and was probably even less common on dealer lots than the early model LS).

Anyone know what issues are common to the 1.8L ??
Other than having a timing belt, I think they're solid.
They still have high failure rates on Plastic Cooling parts & Water Pump. Not as bad as a 1.4T but keep a close eye on it!!!
The Timing Belt can be done without the Alignment Tool....But you must mark everything really well.
