My friend has a 2009 Fit with the 1.5L four-cylinder. Judging from the used oil analysis results posted, this engine is fairly "easy" on oil.
My friend's Fit is approaching 30,000 miles. She has had two oil changes done-- one at 10k and the other at 20k. The OLM goes about 10,000 miles before it reaches 15%. Both oil changes were done at the local fast lube with Pennzoil or Quaker State 5w20 conventional and a Fram filter.
I checked the oil last night and after 9300 miles, it was still medium brown and only 1/4 qt low.
What do you folks think I should fill it with? I can either fill it with Quaker State 5w20 and a Fram filter (since it is on sale), or I can get Valvoline SynPower 5w-20 since it is on sale as well.
