Car requires 5-20. I just filled with MC syn blend, but can get Havoline as well. What are your suggestions? OCI is no more than 5K. I'm staying away from M1.

Thanks

Yep, either one is fine.

Pennzoil Platinum for BOGO is a good deal right now too, just a little more than MC

Yep! PP for 2/5.78. In 5W20, of course..

Buy a whole case, or two. Three 7500 mile OCI for 36.00, not too bad!

Hey BT, did they offer you free oil changes in exchange for a good sales survey? They offered me six, I told em I'd take 6 filters, they could keep the oil,

They offered me free changes for the first 3, regardless of the survey. Actually, they have never called about the survey. Weird....

My fiance just bought a '07 Sonata and the salesman sure did want a good survey report (and he deserved a good one) but never mentioned free oil changes. He did say the oil changes would be $14.95 but, although that is a good price considering filter cost, I would rather do it for her myself.

Yeah, they gave me three filters when they delivered the car (they knew I change my oil from the last Hyundai, they did the timing belts on it).

Then the salesman called back, asked for a good survey writeup and offered me 6 free changes when I brought the form in (it was mailed to me), and BING! Six new OEM Kia/Hyundai filters.

Big deal, right? Haven't used any of em, still using my Purolator 24458 stash I bought from someone here awhile back. Who knows if the OEM Hyundai filter is any better than a Fram, even? I have no idea who makes them.

BtLew, they'll mail the survey to you. Fill it out, take it to the Stealer. When you start to hand it over, yank it back and tell em you want your filters!
