Was this oil really in use for 11080 miles? If so, your wear looks great! Universal averages for the 4.2L are based on an oil run of 6,300 miles. You blew past that mark and wear generally read below univ. avg. levels. Silicon was high at 21ppm and may show the need for fresh air filtration. We suggest checking/changing the air filter, as airborn dirt is abrasive. The viscosity was a little high, but isn't a problem. The TBN read 1.7, so the oil had some active additive left, but not a lot. 1.0 is too low. Try 12,000 miles next time. The TBN may be the limiting factor.

What does everyone think of this UOA? This is my dads Trailblazer, and it is stored june, july, august, and part of september, he has another vehicle. I changed the oil before it was stored approx 1 year ago. We want to change the oil once per year. Looks like we can with no problem.
This was my first UOA. Any feedback appreciated!!!

Excellent report. What was the viscosity? If you improve the Si, the oil might hold up even better the next run.
