2002 Nissan VQ35DE, Mobil1 0W40 4100 miles with autocross/light race duty

Big drop in viscosity considering you added 1.75qt. Same with flash point. You did 800 miles more, added 0.75qt more than last time, yet flash point is 50f down.
What oil was in there before?

These engines shear oil hard. Intersting report for me too since I also have 2 VQ3.5DE engines both on M1 0w40

I missed that. Shear OK, but again, big drop in flash point. Shearing does not equal drop in flash point.
