If it's the 3.3 V6 it's due a timing belt change around 200k. I recently sold a 2002 with 170k that was solid and running fine. 200k isn't something to be afraid of if it was maintained. The 3.3 is an interference engine BTW. How can an ad not mention the engine?

Yes I am going to contact the seller. I like that its a 2wd no added weight and components on the front end and it has a truck suspension leafs at rear. front suspension looks similar to a tacoma with a coil over.

I believe front suspension was torsion bar.

The 3.3 had over complicated controls for what it was IMHO but still pretty stout. If it has the 2.4 other than being a complete dog, would be about as reliable as it gets.

Its $2500. They say the AC works. Hard to lose unless it came from up North and is rusted out - given its 2wd thats less likely.

Be prepared for 16mpg either way.

Solid vehicle, IMO an end to their best era.

Torsion bars up front, may have already been tweaked to lift it up some. These were fun. We had a 97 pathfinder with that drivetrain and find their description entirely believable. $2500 is a steal for a running vehicle - the 2WD probably hurts his ability to sell it to the truck market.

Well if it torsion bar even the better. Yeah I'm in SC so 2wd suits my needs just fine I'm a paved road guy.

Buy it, change ALL the fluids, change every hose and belt that looks tired. Get a history on the timing belt and look into it.
