2000 Ford Focus 2.0 DOHC SE wagon : transmission/Differential integral as 1unit?

I have very little experience with FWD vehicles but I was considering changing the diff oil when I read on the WWW that the transmission and differential are one unit. Probably been integral for decades, and makes sense but to clarify, I’ve changed the transmission fluid so I’m good to go as far as the diff is concerned?

Back in the 80's there were a few FWD autos with a separate drain/fill for the differential, but I think those were all gone by the 90's.

I forgot to mention on the last drain and fill I added 10 ozs of Lubegard red to the transmission, unaware that the transmission and differential were integral in one unit. I’m assuming that the LG won’t have a negative effect on the diff.
