The only part of the UOA that doesn’t look good is viscosity, being essentially out-of-grade for a 20-weight. And if the flashpoint is correct this wouldn’t be a result of fuel dilution. So that leaves shearing, which in turn could lead to a question about the quality of base stocks.

I may have missed this information, but was the oil in February’s UOA also Kirkland 0w-20?

Never mind. I just saw your March 11th thread that confirmed it was Kirkland.

I’m currently running the same oil and a Wix 57055 filter. I’m going to do another uoa with particle count to compare the filters.

I am very interested in seeing that one. Myself, being a bypass valve enthusiast, am using nothing by Wix 57055 filters on my 2021 Outback but I am not liking some of the M&H changes that have been made in recent years on this unit. If I wanted a Purolator I would buy a Purolator, I will not buy any more "Purolated" Wix filters.

assuming its pretty warm-hot over there a 10-30 fake synthetic would be my choice
