First time oil analysis on a 2018 Mazda 3 Touring 2.5 liter NA. Mostly freeway/highway driving. Purchased new in 2019 as a leftover. Only Mazda oil filters have been used. 1WPE-14-302. Initially the Mazda 0w20 high moly oil was used up to 25,000 miles. After that Quaker State 0w20 up to 45,000 and then the Valvoline Advanced 0w20. Decided to run the sample because I was concerned about the small amount of coolant loss and fuel dilution. I guess the fuel dilution is at a minor level at 4,400 miles and it appears no coolant intrusion.

I had one of these - loved this car.
Incredible fuel mileage and enough punch to have some fun!
If you want better handling, get a rear swaybar for it. Totally transformed the understeer nature to more neutral. Much more tossable into those highway exits ;)
Try a good fuel injector cleaner like Redline SI-1 or Royal Purple to get the fuel contamination down a bit.

Thanks for the comments! This is a family members vehicle and they also have a 2005 S2000 for highway exits and entrances. 😜

In the near future I will be submitting a sample and posting the results on a 2016 Mazda 3 Sport 2.0 liter with 41,000 miles. This vehicle is mostly city driven with a very low average speed and trip mileage. The oil is the same Valvoline Advanced 0w20. I'm curious to see the results.
