I just had plantain pancakes fried in coconut oil with cauliflower, Portobello mushroom, and leek soup, with ghee. I now eat 2 dz eggs a week.
My cholesterol was 225 at this year's annual physical so I decided to go from 6 to 9 eggs a week to 4 to 5 eggs a day.
Eggs have lowered my cholesterol before, from 248 to <200 in 3 months or less. I have this documented in test results.

Nice!

I could eat eggs every day too. I think it's all the stuff that generally goes along with them that ruins the bloodwork for most old folks like me.

I had the same results and do not personally believe that eating cholesterol raises your cholesterol. I had a bunch of eggs in the fridge and ate them in creative ways because money was tight at the moment. Went to the doctor after eating like that for a while and my blood results were better than they ever have been. So I def don't believe that eating eggs raises cholesterol. What I don't know is whether or not it contributes to clogging the arteries anyway.

i only use ghee when making eggs, i eat alot of eggs, good protein. Great for working out and getting lean muscle

Agree with above, but research also says it's the type of cholesterol that makes the difference. Highly processed and red meat seem to be the bad guys.

one of the best foods today!!! bodybuilder-tree cutter friend eats a doz a DAY, dad has a farm!! healthy saturated fats are great unlike highly processed typical SEED -vegetable oils!!

Good to hear and congrats!

My New Years resolution was to start eating three eggs and a bowl of oatmeal (with peanut butter) every n ight for dinner instead of something heavy and/or unhealthy, along with snacks. I've been thinking of upping my intake to 5 eggs a day to better satiate my hunger. This post might just give me the confidence to do it!

its never too late to start with upperbody strength, up those eggs, and start some pushups lol

20mg daily of Crestor for 3 months brought me down from 229 to 137 and increased HDL 13 points. Diet has almost no impact on my cholesterol.

Mmmmmm chicken menses, it's diabetes time!

Just saying be careful, I'll have them when I'm on the road but drastically cut down.
