1997 Nissan Terrano from Japan

Why is the front wheel cambering like that?

Something broken?

Look closely at the front body structure for rust, it was a buyback level recall here in the states
If it's clean, consider some supplementary rustproofing

Same goes for the filler neck, inspect for corrosion

It may or may not have a cabin air filter, you'll have to pull the glovebox and check, it's easy to add if you choose to

And make sure your sister knows where the long rods are under the rear seat, so you can lower the spare to change a flat

Hmmm, that does look screwy. Hopefully it’s just an optical illusion. I don’t think it would drive ok like that if not but I will ask her about it.
Thanks for all the good information! I will relay it to her.

Did a quick check on the NZ Fram site. The Japan new Pathfinder should be a chassis model THZR50.Engine oil PH9069.This filter should not have a filter bypass valve,it is in the filter mount head. The air filter can be CA10232 226x147x62mm or CA12380 218x145x75mm.Fuel P5138.Hope this helps.

Quick google search revealed

Engine TD27ETi

Should be more then enough to google what you need from there. I noticed a few Texas JDM importers on FB Marketplace and even considered a Toyota Crown to fool around with but thats a rich persons game. I would caution anyone doing such a thing unless you find yourself in OPs situation up a creek without a tower of babel.
