I don't know when it was introduced but I'd avoid any Ford that came with a variable venturi carb. Just a personal thing; I never liked them. Most ran like crap. Perhaps it was because few knew how they worked or how to work on them.

Thanks for posting the videos- very fun to view.

One thing mentioned in the video, something like" the rear tires with 3" wider tread". Are they saying the 1970 Lincoln had staggered tires. I am not sure what they said about the rear tires meant.
