Here is the UOA from my 2018 Toyota 4Runner with 1941 mile on the oil with a 29 month run. Vehicle has 5600 miles on the clock, this is rarely driven, but brought up to operating temp when used. Vehicle is stored outside, sometimes covered, sometimes in a car port.

Was changed due to time, not mileage.

Surprised to see copper high, but I guess it is still breaking in and washing out. This was the 4th oil change for this vehicle.
Oil filter TRD Pro PTR4300079.

so this oil change started at 3600 miles, I'd suspect the same reason for copper.

I'd keep an eye on the tin. VOAs of this oil don't show any tin in the additive package.

Copper and tin in that kind of ratio can be an indication of wear from bronze parts. Otherwise, the tin could be from the rod or main bearings, and the copper could be from the oil cooler.

This is the second UOA I've seen recently with high copper/tin. In both cases, the oil used was not API approved and thus not subject to the Sequence VIII corrosive wear test for bronze bearings.

Does anybody know if this engine even contains any bronze parts?
